The 3-day Mission u Retreat will be held at FUMC Hurst (a bit east of Ft. Worth) with a block of rooms at a nearby hotel. Options include staying at a hotel, with a friend, or at home if it is close enough for you.

Author Linda Louise Furtado is a born and raised United Methodist minister, the daughter of retired elder Rev. S. Renée Franklin and retired teacher Victor L. Franklin Sr.  After serving as the Minister of Worship, Arts, and Media for McKendree UMC in downtown Nashville, TN, Linda began to serve in pastoral ministry and continues in the process toward ordination as a Deacon in The United Methodist Church. She is the wife of elder Rev. Jefferson Furtado, and mother of 3 daughters.
