The East District gathered in Greenville on Nov. 15.  As district members gathered to count their blessings, old friends visited, new friends were made, mission work was inspired and thanksgivings abounded.  Hunt County unit provided a huge, hearty breakfast to get us ready for the morning.  So much appreciation to Hunt County for hosting and providing seasonal table decorations!  

There were 38 members and guests present to hear an inspiring program from Cynthia Rives discussing the Jerri Savuto Center.  A generous love offering was collected to support the Jerri Savuto Center.  We also remembered the lives of our sisters that have passed this last year.  All units but one were present.  First timers from the Bonham unit were recognized along with long timer Rona Vickers. Rona has been a UWF member for over 50 years.   We were honored to have two Conference leadership team members join us and bring greetings – Becky Baird and Becca Bliz Davis.  

New officers were elected for 2026. (See officer listing to the side)  New President, Cindy Robertson, has already contacted the newly elected officers to begin planning for 2026. Great things are happening in the East District.
