We are the United Women in Faith (UWFaith) of the Horizon Texas Conference. The map below shows the Conference area.

UWFaith is a faith-based membership organization of laywomen open to all women of the Christian faith, with no church membership or age requirements. We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education to inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

United Women in Faith was formerly known as United Methodist Women and many other names since its beginning in 1869. Throughout the years this organization has always been focused on local and global missions improving the lives of women, children and youth. 

Any woman who wants to belong to and participate in UWFaith can become a member. United Women in Faith is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

United Women in Faith’s principles and values include:

• Promoting the empowerment of women, children and youth.
• Promoting anti-racism and multiculturalism.
• Promoting inclusion and equity.
• Promoting fair labor practices.
• Promoting economic and environmental stewardship and sustainability.
